Author and educator.

A story built through words, work, and possibility.

I grew up in Venezuela, in a home where there was never much to spare, but where my grandmother taught me that work does not take away your dignity; it reminds you of it. I also grew up hearing the story of my aunt, a woman who built her own path through effort and showed me that life could become MORE than the place where you begin.

As a child, I sold empanadas in the streets. I went to school with more questions than answers, and I made it to college with worn-out shoes — but also with a certainty that never left me: education could open a path for me.

Years later, I arrived in the United States without English and without certainty. I washed cars, cleaned hospital rooms, and worked in a school cafeteria. Over time, I studied, passed my exams through the Florida Department of Education, and became a certified teacher.

Today, I am an educator at a Title I school in Florida. Every morning, I walk into a classroom knowing, because I lived it, that a child can go farther than their circumstances seem to allow.

That belief is also what led me to write my first picture book. It is the story of a child who grows up hearing words that try to limit him, and a family that teaches him there is always MORE within. In many ways, it is the story I needed when I was that child.

I write, create content, and share stories because I deeply believe in the power of words, education, and the people who once dared to see more in someone like me.

I do not share my journey to impress anyone. I share it because someone reading this may need to remember that there is always MORE within them.
